Fits gum

I wonder if they got their idea from some of Orbits gum comercials...

My very own Itasha

Got a little bit bored with the current appearance of my car so I thought I would start coming up with some new ideas for an Itasha... Here is what I have right now...

I know, it looks bland but its still a work in progress... Once I get the result I desire, I'll just need to find someone who would be willing to complete the masterpiece.

Cool service for those receiving items from Japan

Here is a service provided by Tenso.com that allows you to receive merchandise from companies in Japan that do not ship overseas. Tenso allows you to establish a Japanese address to which you have your purchase shipped. From there, they forward the items on to you using the EMS shipping rates.

Sounds cool to me... At the moment I haven't needed a service like this but I would love to hear from anyone that has used this or a service similar to this...

What if the Vocaloid Characters did their own show...

Imagine if the Vocaloid characters did their own show in the vain of K-ON!...

Pretty well done, I think...

I finally got my copy of Fate/Stay Night

After my previous order of Fate/Stay Night got canceled, I had to re-order my DVD set. I was a bit bummed as you may imagine considering it took almost a month of waiting before I found that it would not be available.

Luckily I had patience on my side when I noticed a new release slated for 9/1. So I just started watching it and I have not been disappointed yet. Having only seen the Manga thus-far, I was not sure what to expect. Unlike say Suzuka, the Manga and Anime are pretty much in sync. In the Suzuka Anime, I find myself falling asleep...

Well, off to watch an episode before heading to work...

Itasha - Pimped up rides for the Otaku in you

After reading an article about Itasha cars at Comiket, I looked a little further and found this video. Some of these are pretty slick. I'm thinking maybe I should start a trend here in the states...

YouTube:

C76 Itasha – Otaku Cars Aplenty

I can't say I have seen any Otaku theme based cars around where I live but there are some people beginning to "skin" their cars as a means of advertising. This is a pretty nice collection of images from an event in Japan called Natsucon where a bunch of Otaku were showing off their cars...

I wonder if people would think me strange to show at work with my car decorated with Holo from Spice and Wolf... Or even Canaan...

Cool T-Shirt

Sadly, here's a shirt I don't think I'll get to see... A company has produced a T-Shirt with the sillouette of Canaan on it and it looks sharp. Here's a link to the site via Google Translate...

If I under stand the page correctly, you will need to attend the Comic Market in Japan to obatain one.

Future Travel Plans

One of these years I would like to make it to Japan for the Comic Market... I had heard about the HUGE crowds that gather their but could only imagine. Here is a video from Japan Probe showing the crowds... Probably won't bring the kids to that event for a few years...

Updated the Design a Little

Tweeked the design of the blog a little tonight.. New header, blog width on the screen improved and got rid of the picture frame...

Also added added links to some of the blogs I frequent...

Looking for another anime series to watch

So I'm looking for another series to watch... I've taken to watching one or so episodes of a series per night. Tonight was Ouran High School Host Club and Spice and Wolf II.

I also watched an episode of Sekirei and eh, I wasn't that impressed... I will probably try another episode and see if my opinion changes.. Something about the story and the characters aren't appealing, at least not yet.

Not sure what kind of anime I want to add to my list just yet. Maybe something similar to Elfen Lied.
